How to read

① Onyomi (Chinese reading)

The on-readings are
・ご go

For example,
日本語 にほんご nihon-go
It means Japanese language

敬語 けいご kei-go
It means honorific

外国語 がいこくご gai-koku-go
It means foreign language

国語 こくご koku-go
It means national language
Basically, it means Japanese subjects.

語源 ごげん go-gen
It means etymology, origin of words

熟語 じゅくご juku-go
