① Onyomi (Chinese reading)

The on-readings are
・う u

For example,
雨量 うりょう u-ryou
It means rainfall

雨天 うてん u-ten
It means rainy weather
雨天決行 うてんけっこう u-ten kekkou
To hold outdoor events as scheduled, even if it is raining.

熱帯雨林 ねったいうりん nettai u-rin
It means tropical forest

雷雨 らいう rai-u
It means thunderstorm
