① Onyomi (Chinese reading)

The on-reading is

・じ ji

For example,
仕事 しごと shi-goto
It means work
仕事場 しごとば shi-goto-ba
It means workplace

給仕 きゅうじ kyuu-ji
It means pageboy, waiter, waitress
